I’m Cukita, a 5 year old female Poodle Terrier mix. I am low shed and weigh about 18 lbs. I’m from the Humane Society of Yuma. Before that I came from a hoarding situation where there were many dogs and little attention given. I am very shy and will need patience to warm up. Once I warm up to you, I am very sweet and gentle. I may not know how to show it but I enjoy your company and laying by your feet. I have lived in a home with cats and kids as well, but we suggest mature children that understand my shyness. I may never be the type of dog to greet you with a big sloppy kiss but that doesn’t mean I don’t deserve a good home. My ideal home would be quiet with few visitors. I play great with other dogs. I will need a playful dog in my new home to help me adjust and trust humans. I am so affectionate with other dogs, I will cuddle, groom and play all day long. I hope there is a family out there for me. A patient family that will dedicate the time I need to come out of my shy shell. --- Adoption fee is $260. This dog is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. The adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet, come to the rescue location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix AZ 85021, open Tues-Sun 11 am to 6 pm.
