Sunny is an extra special one year old male short hair. He has won the heart of his foster and all our staff. Sunny came to us with an old leg fracture. After consulting with multiple vets, it was determined that he needed an amputation to stop the pain he was in and have a better quality of life. We don't know how this injury happened, but we do know that the lived with a complet ely broken leg since he was a small kitten. He also has fractures in his tail. After the surgery, Sunny had a long recovery due to infection. He is now completely recovered and you would never know that he only has three legs he gets around so well! Sunny loves to play- anything, you name it, even soccer. He is very headstrong and we can imagine why after his rough start at life. He is an alpha male so we do not recommend that he go to a home with other male cats (or only submissive males who would adapt to another male in the house), Sunny is great with female cats and ok with dogs. Sunny is still learning some boundaries when it comes to play. He is affectionate but can "love nip" a bit hard so we do not recommend he live with children. Sunny is ready for his furever home where he will be loved and kept safe. He must live indoors only. To meet Sunny, contact his foster mom, Cece, at 602-421-3679.
