Roscoe is an American Bulldog/Cattle Dog mix approximately 3-4 years old and is more than ready to find a loving family. He came to our rescue from one of our Foster's friend who found him as a stray. He got along fine with her dogs (large), horses and her children. The finder surrendered him to our shelter only because he was jumping her fence to visit the dog next door. Roscoe arrived in November 2015. There was not much room in the main area of the rescue for this beautiful boy to be seen regularly. The longer he was there the more kennel stressed he became. He started displaying bad behavior and did not do well with meet and greets. Fast forward to October 2016....after restructuring the rescue when major changes happened with the departure of prior management, we partnered with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team to help with our hard to place dogs. This has been a huge success and Roscoe is one of those success stories. His professional training has helped him tremendously. He would love to go to an active family and a companion furry friend is a great possibility with a meet and greet. He has attended adoption events and tends to be more on the shy side but gets more relaxed as the day goes by. Hangs out great with the other dogs. His adopter will need to give him a little patience, love, and the structure he deserves so he realizes he has found his "home". We want Roscoe to be successful in his new home and be able to just be a dog too! He comes with several handling sessions from his trainer. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, licensed, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. His adoption fee is $80.
