I'm Kathleen, my friends call me Kat. I'm a 2 year old female Pit Bull mix. I weigh about 57lbs. I lived at County for 1 month before I was rescued by AZSDR. I gave birth to my puppies at County right after Thanksgiving. That was the first day of the rest of my life. AZSDR saved me from possibly being euthanized. Pregnant dogs and unborn puppies are now getting euthanized if there is no outlet for them. I was one of the lucky ones. I have a few scars on my head from either other dogs or abuse. Staff says I was a very good Mama. With all the hardship I've had I'm very forgiving. I love to be around people. I'm the biggest sweetheart and so affectionate. I will give you kisses and hope you give them back. I was so grateful that staff took care of my puppies and I. They gave me a dog bed. Oh my I love comfy dog beds. I love toys too! I can sit quietly by your side or entertain myself when I'm feeling playful. I love to play with toys! I like to talk when I play with my toys. When I get hyper my bum curves inward and I run around like a wind up toy. People think I'm so silly. I'm so gentle with small dogs and all people. I seem to be good with cats as well. I can be protective of my home and bark at new comers. I stop once I realize that my family welcomes them. I know how to use puppy pads and I'll also go outside. I know how to use a dog door and I'm great in a kennel. --- Adoption fee is $80. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, licensed, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. No rentals or apartments with weight or breed restrictions. A meet and greet is required with all children and other dogs that live in the home.  To meet her, come to our location at 1102 W.
