I’m Lucy, a 3 year old female Dachshund mix. I weigh about 15 lbs full grown. My previous owners had too many dogs so they were hoping for a better fit. Upon my arrival the Staff noticed that I was a little heavy in the middle. Little did my previous owners know I was pregnant! I’ve been in foster ever since. My foster parents have been treating me and my puppies very well! They tell me that I’m very sweet and a great dog! They’d keep me if they could! That’s how great I am J I love people and want to be near them. I am also independent and know how to entertain myself. I love to play with dogs of all sizes. I love to play with toys, especially squeaky toys and balls. I love to take walks on a leash and I ride great in a car. I’m affectionate and love to sleep in bed with my family. They say I’m a great guard dog. I will watch out of the window and bark when the doorbell rings. But other than that I’m a quiet girl. I am housebroken but not kennel trained. I’m a sweet girl looking for a sweet family. Let’s meet! (Home check is required) --- Adoption fee is $260. This dog is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. The adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet, contact the foster Lori at 62-432-4188.
