I’m Abbie, a 1 year old female Dachshund Chihuahua mix weighing about 18lbs currently. My previous owner did not have the time to train me, so I am looking for my forever family that will have lots of patience for me. I do well with men and women, as well as older children, however I can be skittish with fast or forceful movements. I am playful and affectionate with other dogs both large and small and have not met any cats. I am a rough player, so I would benefit having another young playful companion(s) in my new home. My forever family will need to have plenty of time to train a young girl like me as I am still learning how to be fully house broken. I bark when strangers come to the door and when I am left home alone for too long. I prefer a family that is home most of the time because I don't like being alone. It is best to kennel me while away; good thing I’m kennel trained! I ride well in the car and walk great on a leash. My adoption fee s $160. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. My adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet come to the rescue location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix AZ 85021, open Tues-Sun 11 am to 6 pm.
