I’m Bennett, a 2 year old male Maltese mix. I am hypoallergenic and weigh about 13 lbs full grown. I grew up in a hoarding house with 40 other dogs until I was rescued by AZSDR. I was extremely matted, covered in ticks and stinky. Thanks to A Hairy Situation Grooming Co. I look and feel amazing! I was very nervous being groomed for the first time ever but with practice and gentle groomers like A Hairy Situation I will learn to love it. I will need to be groomed regularly due to my breed. I wasn’t socialized so I am very skittish of people. I would love a family that will be very patient with me while I learn to trust people and my new surroundings. I am very sweet ad eager for attention. But I don’t have the confidence to ask for a hug or a kiss. I need a family to teach me how to love humans. I love dogs of all sizes. If I don’t go home with one of my brothers then I require another doggy companion in my home. This is to keep me comfortable and help me trust my new family. Staff hasn’t seen my play with toys but it’s possible that I don’t know what a toy is. I love to snuggle with other dogs and I absolutely love treats! I am learning how to use a leash but will need continued training. It’s unsure if I am housebroken so I might need a little bit of training in my new home. I am great in a kennel and love exploring the outdoors. My days of sleeping on a dirty floor in a crowded home are over and I hope I have a nice home and family to finally call my own. – Adoption fee is $300. This dog is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. The adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit.
