Akira is a shy but very sweet, 1 year old female Chihuahua mix. She currently weighs 7lbs and is full grown. She was found left behind in a backyard for 4 days after her previous owners had moved away. She was abandoned with her puppies and the father of her pups. Akira had a rough start to life, but she is learning to trust and warm up to new people. She is good around small dogs, but has not been around any larger dogs or cats. If there are any in the home, an introduction would be required. It is recommended that Akira go to a home with older children that are mature, as she needs time to warm up. Akira is kennel trained and working on being house broken. Akira would do well in an active or low active home. Akira needs a forever home that is patient, allowing her time to open up and providing her with unconditional love. Her adoption fee is $260. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet, come to the rescue location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix AZ 85021, open Tues-Sun 11 am to 6 pm.
