Meet Madonna! She is an adorable 4.5 month old female Corgi mix weighing about 16lbs. She was transferred from another rescue where she was exposed and diagnosed with Parvo and Coccidia. Madonna immediately started treatment and was headed on the road to recovery. AZSDR took wonderful care of her and she was able to fight off Parvo as well as Coccidia and is now ready to find her forever home! Madonna is a very sweet girl who is truly a little love; however she can be fearful at first and will need a family who is patient with her to open up. Madonna gets along with other dogs, both large and small, however she prefers to be close by her human’s side. She does well with women, but has no experience with men or children. An introduction will need to be done with everyone in the home, as it is important to go slow with her at first until she is comfortable. Madonna is still learning how to be fully house broken and will need guidance and time allowing her to fully be potty trained. Madonna would do great in an active home or low active home where she can receive and provide unconditional love and live a long happy life. Her adoption fee is $350. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet, come to the rescue location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix AZ 85021, open Tues-Sun 11 am to 6 pm.
