Meet Papago! He is an adorable 3.5 month old male Chihuahua mix weighing at 7lbs. Papago was found as a stray and no one had come in to claim him, so he is looking for a forever home of his own. Papago is a friendly boy, but can be a bit shy at first, but once he has warmed up to you he loves cuddles, chewing on toys, and playing with other dogs. Papago gets along great with both small and large dogs; he has not yet met a kitty, however he is at a good age that he should be able to get along well with cats. Papago loves everyone he meets--including children, and would make a wonderful family dog! Papago knows how to use a doggy door, and for the most part does not have any accidents. Since he is still a puppy, accidents may happen, so he will need a family who understands this and will have the patience for him while he is learning. Papago sleeps with his foster parents at night in their bed and has no accidents all night. Papago’s foster mom says that he rides well in the car, although when he is in a kennel in the car he will typically throw up, but has done great sitting in someone’s lap or in the chair by himself. Papago has not been kenneled, but does stay in an x-pen when he is home alone and does well. Come meet this sweet boy and see if he would be the right fit for you!  His adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit.
