Meet Panther! She is a beautiful 1 year old female Chihuahua mix weighing at 18lbs. Panther was surrendered by her previous owners because they could no longer care for her anymore, and she was forced to live in the garage for 5 months with her newborn puppies. Panther is now looking for her forever home where she can be cared for and given unconditional love while living a long and happy life. Panther is a very sweet, loyal, and happy girl--though she can be a bit standoff-ish and nervous at first. Panther is extremely food motivated, and food is truly the best way to her heart. If you move slowly with her and praise her with tons of treats and happiness, she will be your best friend in no time! Panther has gotten along great with everyone she has met, and had previously lived with older (10+ of age) children. She does well with small dogs and her history with cats is unknown. Panther LOVES to play with toys---tennis balls and stuffed squeaky toys are her absolute favorite! Panther is house broken with the use of puppy pads, kennel trained, and rides well in the car. Panther knows commands such as “sit”, “stay”, “come”, and is eager to learn so much more with her new family. Panther would do well in an active home. Her adoption fee is $220. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit. To do a meet and greet, come to the rescue location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix AZ 85021, open Tues-Sun 11 am to 6 pm.
