Nash is a strong and confident 2 year old Border Terrier/ Picardy Shepherd mix looking for his forever pack leader. He weighs about 45 pounds and is full grown. Nash needs a confident human that is willing to work with his behavior when necessary. He loves to be outside and hang out in the backyard but in his previous home he claimed it and wanted to protect his yard. Nash has been very independent while here with us and LOVES to play. He plays very rough and gets very vocal. Nash needs a home with no children under the age of 18. He is great with all adults! Nash is very prey driven and needs a feline, bird, and small animal free home. He has not lived with any other dogs, though he may do well with playful dogs his own size. Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with Nash prior to adoption. Nash is house broken, kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car, He is almost too smart for his own good and has a history of being able to open doors with handles and speeding out the door before his humans can catch him. Nash needs a vigilant home that will ensure he is safe every time they leave the house. He enjoys singing daily and boasting about how cool his toys are and would not do well in an apartment environment. Nash will require a home with many toys and at least one human willing to play tug o' war with him! He is very sweet when he calms down but will need a very active home to take him on adventures and work with his behavior. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
