Taco is a handsome 10 year old male chihuahua who is looking for the perfect forever home. Taco is a very special boy looking for a very special family to love him for who he is. Taco was saved from the Humane Society of Yuma thanks to their Rescue Express and his Yuma foster mom! Taco is a special boy in the hearts of the many who have gotten to know him. Taco came in to the humane society after being found as a stray. Taco was very scared in the kennels, which is understandable after all he had been through. Taco is looking for a very patient and gentle family who can continue to love him while he learns to trust humans. Taco is very shy and fearful when meeting new people, but he loves to share food, and will gladly eat out of your hand. Taco is looking for a home where he can come to his people on his own time. He LOVES other dogs, and will definitely need a home with another dog who can help him adjust and show him that humans are great! Taco is a good boy who is house broken and does not lift his leg when using the restroom. Taco would do best in a home with no kids, or older teenage children who understand his need for time and space. Taco is currently wearing a pink harness that he came to us in, but we assure you he is still a macho little man! Taco is great on a leash and would enjoy short walks, but can not go too far due to his luxated patellas. Other than his back legs, Taco is a very young 10 who loves going outside, hanging out with other dogs, and following his people. Taco will make a very loyal companion to the perfect family who will give him love while he learns to trust. Taco weighs 8.5 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. He comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit as well.
