Gary is a gentle 5 year old Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. He currently weighs about 9 pounds and is full grown. Gary is a sweet guy and has loved introducing himself to new people by standing on his back legs and pawing at them. He has done well with men and women. We have not seen him around any children but would do best with gentle children that understand they need to go slow. Gary came to us from the county shelter, we do not have any background information on his history. He will need a patient family that will help him adjust in a new home. He may need potty training and leash training. Gary does well with other dogs his size and is a very quiet boy. He will not have any troubles adjusting to life where he can run around, go for walks and laze around the house with his people. His adoption fee is $220. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption includes 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit to a choice of many vet offices.
