Jonah is a goofy 3 year old Silky Terrier mix looking for a forever home that can keep up with him! He weighs 14.3 pounds and is full grown. Jonah originally came from the County shelter where he had been found with puncture wounds on his neck, shoulders and back from a coyote. He was very shy, covered in bruises and refusing to eat. With the help of some medications he was standing and asking for pets and belly rubs but he still wasn't in the clear. Jonah has been here with us at the shelter for 120 days waiting for his rabies quarantine to be completed. He is officially off quarantine and is healthy as he could be! Jonah has burst out of his shy shell and is an outgoing boy who has lots of stored up love to give! He is great with men and women but we do not know if he has ever been around children. We do not know if Jonah has ever lived with other animals but has done well with dogs his size with a slow introduction. Jonah would love to meet the whole family before adoption, including any dogs living in the home! He will need a patient home that understands that he may require training as he adjusts in his forever home. Jonah loves to smile and hopes his people will take him to see the world! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption is $320 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance.
