Maverick is a shy 4 year old Maltese/ Terrier mix looking for his perfect forever home! He weighs 13 pounds and is full grown. Maverick is quite the ladies man and loves women! He is very nervous around men, but with a lot of time and patience he would be able to settle down in a home if there is a man. Maverick is also good with older gentle children that let him come to them. He is a sweet boy that would like a home where he can hang out with his people on the couch and entertain himself with chew toys. Maverick is also a ladies man when it comes to canines, he prefers females dogs but can still be a little selective when it comes to finding him a compatible play mate. Please bring along the whole family to meet Maverick, including any dogs living in the home before adoption! Maverick is kennel trained, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. He will need a home that will never let him outside unattended, he likes to go on self proclaimed adventures and will climb and jump any fences he can get his paws over! Maverick also knows how to sit and responds to his name! Maverick was previously adopted and did show signs of separation anxiety when left home alone, he may prefer a home with a canine buddy. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm. On weekends, call for location as some of our dogs attend off site adoption events, 602-944-2440
