Karl is a shy 1 year old Poodle/ Schnauzer mix looking for a patient forever home. He weighs 27.6 pounds and is full grown. Karl previously lived outside and had little to no interaction with people. He loves the leash and going for walks. Karl will need a home that understands he will need work on his human socialization and will need time to come out of his shell at his own pace. He will need a slow introduction with any new people he meets, here at the shelter and at home. He has done well around men and women. If there are any children in the home they must understand he will need space until he is comfortable. Karl has done well around dogs his size and bigger, though he does not like to share his food or his people. Please bring anyone in the home to meet with Karl before adoption, including any dogs in the home. Karl would do best in an active home so they can keep up with him once he relaxes! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $350 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm.
