Fantastic Max is a 3 year old loving Morkie (Maltese/ Yorkie) mix with possibly some Lhasa Apso, looking for his forever home! He weighs 25 pounds and is full grown. Max loves his people and his people only, he will need a slow introduction with any new people and would do best in a home with limited visitors. He is good with men and women but will need a home with no children under the age of 18. He loves to play fetch and any toys he can get his paws on. Max is both potty pad and grass trained, and rides great in the car. Fantastic Max will need a securely fenced backyard, hopefully big enough so he can explore and romp around in! He previously lived with another dog, but does become very protective over other dogs towards his humans. He does great in social settings with other dogs, but will need to be the only dog in the home. Fantastic Max does shed a little and is not considered hypoallergenic, however will need regular grooming. He is neutered , up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee of $260 includes a complementary vet visit. To potentially adopt him, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time. Masks/face coverings are required.--
