Sparky is a dapper chihuahua who is 10 years young and looking for someone to spend his golden years with. He weighs 7.1 pounds and is full grown. Sparky is shy at first but warms up quickly and then attention and affection will be all he wants. Sparky loves adults, but we don't know how he does with children. We recommend older children for this tiny older boy. Sparky came to us after losing his person and was in need of a dental cleaning, so he got his dental and has a sparkly new smile to show off in his new home. Sparky would do good with another small, calm dog similar to his personality. Sparky is a good boy who is house broken and loves to go for both car rides and walks. Sparky would love a home with a couch to curl up on and a lap to sit in. While here with AZSDR, Sparky received a dental cleaning and had no extractions. He does have a grade 3/6 heart murmur and also received x-rays that showed no heart enlargement, and his lungs are clear. It is recommended that Sparky receive x-rays or an echo yearly to check his heart and overall health. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $200 and comes with 30 days of complementary pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm. On weekends, give us a call for the dogs location as we have off site adoption events that some of our dogs attend, 602-944-2440.
