Cali is a handsome 6 1/2 year old poodle mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Cali is a sweet boy who loves his people, but is very timid of new people and will need slow intros and time to warm up. Cali will do best in a home with adults only where he can take his time to get comfortable. Cali goes by the nickname of Calvin which is his full name. We were told by his previous family that he is not good with other dogs. Calvin has done well with other small dogs at our shelter, but would be happiest alone in his home as the center of attention. Cali is house broken, but has had some issues with marking, so he will likely need patience and training in his new home as he learns. When he came to us Calvin had been being treated for Valley Fever. After seeing our vet his titer level is low, but still not negative so he will go home with medication to continue until his bloodwork shows a negative titer. Cali is good on a leash, enjoys car rides and knows the command for "sit". Calvin weighs 10 pounds full grown.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $260 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
