This sweet little girl is named Callie. She is a precious 12 year old Long Haired Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. Callie weighs 8.2 pounds and is full grown. She is a gentle lady who is always ready to make a new friend. Callie is good with men, women and gentle children . She had originally been found as a stray and taken to the Arizona Humane Society. Callie came to us and has blossomed into a happy, life loving ray of sunshine! Callie is great with other dogs her size that are calm so they can't bowl her over. She does not like to share any food and would do best fed separately.  Callie needs a patient home that understands she may not be trained and will take time to adjust to a new environment. She did successfully use potty pads while she was in foster recovering from surgery. While here at AZSDR, Callie received a dental cleaning and had a total of 3 extractions (she was missing 38 teeth already!) . Callie is now officially toothless and will need to eat soft/wet food and soft treats. She also had two mammory masses removed while she was spayed and received her dental. We have no idea what this strong little girl has been through, it was discovered that she has a healed fracture in her jaw. Callie is ready to relax and receive all the love she deserves in her forever home!  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit. To meet her, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021.
