Maxine is a timid 3 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix looking for her forever home. She weighs just under 14 pounds and is full grown. Maxine needs a patient home willing to go at her own pace. She is very shy and does best with humans that give her space to adjust to her new environment. Maxine has done well with men and women but has not been around children that we know of. Maxine needs a home with no young children as they may spook her easily. She has done well with dogs of all sizes that are male. In her previous home she was not getting along with the other female dog in the home. Maxine would prefer to meet any potential canine companions prior to adoption. She is partially house broken, kennel trained, and rides well in the car. Maxine will require training as she adjusts. She would love a securely fenced yard big enough for her to explore freely. Maxine can't wait for her patient and loving forever home. She needs a home with no felines. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped.
