Kauffman is a handsome big boy who was adopted from us as a younger boy, but made his way back to us in need of a more perfectly fit home for him. Kauffman is needing a home where he can be the only dog. Although he can do well with other large dogs in public, he will thrive as the center of attention in his home. Kauffman is looking for a mature family of active adults 18 and older who are ready to play fetch and take him hiking. Kauffman loves to lounge on big fluffy blankets and would enjoy movie night with the family. Kauffman loves his people and doesn't like when they leave, so someone who works from home or doesn't leave too often is ideal. Kauffman plays hard and enjoys very sturdy toys and a good game of fetch. While he may play hard, he loves to be a lazy boy when the play is done. Kauffman is a wonderful office assistant who is quiet and well mannered, laying loyally at your feet but always excited to see you come back! Kauffman is a well-behaved boy who is good on a leash and a gentleman in the car. He is housebroken, kennel trained and dog door trained. This smarty pants also knows sit, stay, shake, laydown, come and even how to play dead! His favorite object is a tennis ball and he will fetch until you can't throw anymore, then it's off to bed together for the both of you!
