Dee Dee is a sweet and cuddly little 5 year old Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle) with a little bit of Schnauzer mix looking for loving forever humans. Dee Dee weighs 10.4 pounds and is full grown. She is shy at first but has done great with men, women, children and other small dogs.  She is kennel trained and housebroken when let out on a regular schedule.  She is working on learning to use a dog door and is very close to using it confidently.  Dee Dee will need basic obedience training as well as training on a leash. She is highly motivated by treats and very eager to please!  She is sweet and affectionate and soaks up love like a sponge.  DeeDee will do best with a family with children and a backyard where she can run and play.  She bonds quickly with children and loves having multiple sources of attention.  She will need a patient family who understands she needs time to warm up.  Dee Dee came to the shelter with her hair heavily matted and had to be completely shaved down.  Her beautiful, soft white coat is growing back nicely and she will need regular grooming to keep it mat free. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400 which includes a free vet visit and 30 days of complementary pet insurance.
