She is a sweet 3.5 year old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix who weighs in at only 8.6 pounds full grown. Lucy is so full of love that she needs a human to share it with! She is a girls girl and prefers the company of women. Men can be intimidating and scary. If there is a man in her home, it will take time for her to adjust and eventually make friends. She has been around older children and would do best with those that understand she has boundaries and will need patience to adjust. Lucy is the best snuggle bug and prefers to be as close to her human as possible. She will even settle for sitting in the chair behind you as you work. Lucy despises being alone and needs a person that is home more often than not. When her people leave she will cry and bark for their return. She loves to talk when she wants something and would not do well in an apartment environment. Lucy is great with other dogs of all sizes with a proper intro. Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with Lucy prior to adoption. Lucy is a very smart girl who is house broken, kennel trained, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. She loves to burrow into her blankets and pillows. Lucy is a one of a kind gal that deserves the best home possible. Lucy will give her kisses to the most deserving of humans. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $260 which includes a free vet visit and 30 days of complementary pet insurance.
