Franz is a handsome 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for the perfect forever family. Franz is an active medium sized boy who weighs in at 30 pounds full grown, but is very strong. Franz has lots of energy and is looking for a family who also has lots of energy for walks, playtime and exercise. Franz would do best with older, mature children who are dog savvy. Franz is good with dogs near his size, but has been very assertive so he will need the right canine companion, please bring any current dogs to meet him before adoption. Franz is a bit shy but warms up quickly and is very food motivated. Franz has hops and can easily jump high in the air, so he will need a yard with a secure fence at least 6 feet tall. Franz is a ladies man who will spend as much time as he can with a lady to love on. Franz may need training, including house training, and will need patience while he learns. Franz loves chin rubs and sitting in your lap even though he is just a bit too big. He will make a wonderful, fun addition to a lucky active family. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped.
