Palomino is a handsome 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who sadly came to us after his owner passed away. He has been patiently waiting for far too long for his forever family, could it be you? Palomino can be a shy boy initially, but will certainly warm up to a gentle, patient person who is willing to show him that they will not break his heart. He is food/treat-motivated, so the way to his heart is through his belly! Palomino truly loves his people with every ounce of his being. He is a loyal companion with so much love to give. He will greet you at the door with a big smile and a tail wag! He really enjoys laying in your lap for belly rubbin’s. In return you will be showered with endless affection and kisses! His foster mom says he is a delightful house guest that sleeps quietly through the night and is also potty-trained. He enjoys the company of cats and does well with other calm dogs but doesn’t really play with them and wouldn’t mind being the center of your universe. He would do best in a quiet home with a secure yard to continue practicing his leash training before adventuring out into the big scary world. One of his quirks is that he can get possessive of his favorite human, so he will need to be shown equal love and attention by all members of the family. Please bring everyone living in the home to meet him. He weighs 11lbs and is fully grown. Palomino has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations microchipped and vet checked.
