Macchiato is a 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a loving forever family. He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown. Macchiato is going to need a very loving and patient family who will allow him to come around on his own time and give him the space to learn to trust. He bonds almost instantly to canines but will take time to warm up to his humans. Macchiato is great with other dogs and loves to be around other canines. He will require a playful and confident canine companion in his home. Macchiato would do best with dog savvy, mature children and adults. He is very quiet boy that has a bit of character hidden beneath the surface. Macchiato has tried to steal shoes and other items while he has been in foster. Macchiato knows how to use a doggy door and is okay on a leash, but due to his timid nature he requires a home with a fenced in yard, no apartments. He will need a home that understands he will require training as he adjusts. A home check will be required prior to adoption. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked.
