Edward Scissorhands is a gentle 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a home who understands his quirks and loves him the way he is. Edward Scissorhands is a loving boy who is timid with strangers and has some nicks and scars he can’t find the words to explain. Edward was one of 8 dogs who came to us from a home where he has lived a less than spoiled life. We are looking to find his happy suburban home to turn his life from rags to riches. Edward Scissorhands needs a home with family members who understand to let him have time to come around and love you on his own time. Edward loves to be loved gently and will be happiest in a home with canine companionship as it is all he has ever known. Edward would love a home with a gorgeous backyard and will need patience as he learns to his house training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $220 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him, please come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
