Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult Learn more about the Chihuahua.
Edie is a quiet 6 year old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. She weighs just over 8 pounds and is full grown. Edie is a very shy girl that needs humans willing to go slow with her and work to gain her trust. She has done well with all adults but may do best in a home with no young children that may spook her. Edie was originally a stray and unfortunately has no background information. She will need patient adopters that understand she may require training as she adjusts. Edie has done well with other calm small dogs and may do well with a calm canine companion to bond with. While here with AZSDR, Edie had a mammary mass removed during her spay and feels so much better! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt her come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time. Masks/face coverings are required. For the safety of our staff and customers, we ask that you practice social distancing, sanitization, and if exposed to Covid-19 or sick to please stay home.--
