Quincy is a handsome 3 month old Chihuahua/Cattle Dog who is looking for a patient and understanding family. Quincy is not quite your typical puppy and will need a very gentle, loving family and some time to learn how to be a "normal" pup. Quincy came to us with his two sister and they are all very timid, but Quincy was noticeably most frightened. When surrendered, Quincy would scream when touched. Occasionally he will still scream when frightened, but is coming around. He finds great trust in following the lead of and learning from another dog, so he will need a gentle but confident canine companion to show him the ropes in his new home. Quincy will need mature, dog savvy people in his life who will not push him to go faster than he is comfortable with or terrify him with loud/sudden movements. Quincy will need a home with a secure yard, no apartments or rentals with weight or breed restrictions. He weighs about 13 pounds now, but is growing everyday!  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee of $400 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time. Masks/face coverings are required. For the safety of our staff and customers, we ask that you practice social distancing, sanitization, and if exposed to Covid-19 or sick to please stay home.--
