Yoda is a friendly Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. He weighs about 20 pounds and is full grown. Yoda is great with all adults and older children that will respect his boundaries. He has done well with dogs of all sizes but does require a feline free home. Yoda loves to talk about everything that happens and would not due well in an apartment environment. He prefers to sleep in his humans bed instead of his own and loves to go on adventures! Yoda is house broken, kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. He will need a escape proof home that will make sure he only goes on supervised adventures. Yoda loves stuffed animals and has a full list of tricks he can do! While here with AZSDR, Yoda received a dental cleaning and had a total of 2 teeth extracted. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
