Yoda Bear is a silly 5 year old Shih Tzu/Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He currently weighs 14 pounds and is full grown. Yoda Bear is a bit shy at first with new people, once he warms up he turns into a sweet and cuddly little guy. Although we do not know how Yoda Bear is with cats, he will rub against your leg for attention like one! He is looking for a mature household of adults only with no children under the age of 18. He will need to meet everyone in the home before adoption. Yoda Bear is good with other dogs similar in size to him. He likes to play with other dogs on his own terms so he will need to meet with any other dogs in the home before adoption. Yoda Bear is good on a leash and housebroken, however he will mark his territory at first. We strongly recommend belly bands to curb this behavior. Yoda Bear is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee of $300 includes a complementary vet exam.  To meet him, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open TUES-SUN 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
