Zander is a handsome 4 year old Cairn Terrier mix who is looking for a loving forever family to call his own. Zander was recently saved from the county shelter, so we have limited information about his history, but while with us we noticed Zander mildly limps, but only part of the time. He saw our vet who has said that this is most likely just his walk and a habit he has developed as he is in no pain and healthy. Zander would likely be happiest as an only dog, but if going with a gentle canine companion he would like to meet them before adoption. Zander will likely need house training and patience while he adjusts, but has been well mannered in his kennel in his time with us. Zander is a sweet boy who would likely do well with mature children. Zander weighs 13 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $320 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him, please come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
