Oakley is a darling 2 year old long hair Chihuahua mix who is looking for a patient, gentle and loving forever home. Oakley came to us from HARTT after being rescued from the streets, so he was understandably timid when coming to us. He has come out of his shell some, but is still going to be shy with new people until he warms up. Oakley is good with other dogs and would love a small, gentle but confident canine companion to teach him about life and love in his forever home. Oakley would need to meet mature children before adoption as we are unsure his history with kids. Oakley came off the streets, so he will need patience while he learns in a home and will likely need house training. Oakley weighs 10 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $320 and comes with a complimentary vet exam. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
