Aiko is a handsome 3 year old Cairn Terrier mix who was saved from the county shelter and is now on the search for his forever home. Aiko is a sweet boy, but may be shy with new people until he adjusts and should be treated with patience, not pushed. Aiko is good with other small dogs and happy to meet a calm and confident canine companion. Aiko would do best with mature family members who are dog savvy and know when he needs space. Aiko is semi-leashed train, kennel trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. He will need a few reminders and patience in the housebreaking department when going to a new home. He is a smart boy who knows sit, stay, down, and come. He loves to play with toys, play with other dogs, and is good in the car. He weighs in at 12 pounds full grown.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee of $350 includes a complimentary vet visit. To potentially adopt him, please come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
