Jack Jack is a 5yr old Maltese/Shihtzu looking for his forever home. He came to us because his owner was being deployed. Jack Jack is hypoallergenic/non shedding, and weighs in full grown at 7.8lbs. He's a very sweet, cuddly, and affectionate boy that loves to be by his owners side. He loves to go bye bye, sleep with his owner or in a kennel, and laying in a lap. He's an easy going smart boy who knows sit, stay, come, lay down, roll over, spin, "go potty", and "outside". He has lived with women only and children as young as 10 and cats, but hasn't lived with another dog. If any dogs live in the home please bring them with. While here with us he has done well with other calm mellow dogs. He is not good with dogs that are hyper and super active. He is housebroken, doggy door trained, and kennel trained. He's also good on a leash and loves car rides and going bye bye. He also loves playing with stuffed toys and tug-of-war. Jack Jack isn't fond of grooming, so this would need to be professionally done with a groomer that has experience with dogs that hate grooming. Jack Jack is hoping to find a home with a yard, and a home where his people are home more often than not. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, vet checked, and recently groomed. His adoption fee is $400 and includes a complimentary vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
