Nala is a spunky 5 year old terrier mix looking for her forever home! She currently weighs 9 pounds and is full grown. Nala can be shy in new environments and around new people but warms up quickly! Once she knows you, she wants all the attention she can get. Sometimes this can get her in trouble because she will try to run out the door to go with her people. Nala has been good with men, women, and older dog-savvy children. We do not know how she is with cats. She has been selective with dogs and tends to do better with calmer dogs. She will need to meet any dogs living in the home before adoption to ensure they get along. Nala is good on a leash and rides well in the car! She however is not a fan of the kennel and would do best in a closed of space or free to roam when left home alone. We are not sure if she is housebroken but she is a people pleaser and will learn quickly with the right guidance. Nala is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption fee of $280 includes a complementary vet visit. To potentially adopt her come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 10 people in the building at a time.
