Flor would be a good candidate for a foster-to-adopt situation. She needs to be in a home to continue to grow in socialization and confidence as she has learned so much, but needs to learn life outside of the shelter environment.

Flor is an adorable chihuahua mixes looking for her forever home. Flor from an unimaginable situation that the Humane Society thankfully saved her from along with her brother. Before being rescued, they hardly had any interactions with humans and those interactions that they did have, were not good. Flor has been working on her social skills and has come along way, but would come along so much faster in a home. Flor needs to go to a dedicated family where she can continue to grow and trust people. Flor has done fantastic and her adorable, playful personality is shining through. At times she is so playful with other dogs the dogs don't know what to think. Flor will need a home with another dog who is playful and confident, who can be her companion and also teach her that love from a human is a good thing. We are hoping that a potential foster-to-adopt situation will help her realize how great life is when you’re a spoiled dog. To meet her, please bring the whole family to our shelter location 1102 W.
