Many of our followers likely remember the name Jakoda. He was a long timer here at the shelter. To no fault of his own, he was returned to us after finally being adopted. Although we are sad that he is back, we did learn how he is in a home. Jakoda is leash trained and does very well on hikes. He is housebroken and happy to learn a new consistent routine. When Jakoda chooses his person, he does well with grooming, bathing and loves to get brushed. Jakoda is a quiet gentlemen and a gentle giant. He is so loving and loyal and loves to cuddle. Although he has his quirks, we know the right person is out there somewhere. Jakoda would do best in a dog savvy home where people understand and respect what he requires. He does not do well with young children and needs a slow and easy introduction to strangers. To potentially meet Jakoda, please come to the shelter with everyone that lives in the home including all current canine companions.
