Balar is a shy but sweet, silly, and loving boy looking for his forever home. He originally came to us from our friends at HARTT, who humanely trapped him as he had been running the streets. No owners came forward for him, so now he is looking for his new home! Balar is a soulful boy, who takes a bit of patience at first to open up. It doesn’t take long though, and once he opens up he is your best friend! Balar has done well with other small dogs at our facility, but bring any current dogs in the home to meet him to ensure it is a good fit. How he is with cats and kids is unknown. If he is housebroken is unknown, but he’s well on his way as he has kennel training down pack! He likes to play with toys, explore and run in the yard, and be with his people. He has shown a bit of separation anxiety so may do best in a home where his people are home more often than not. He needs a home with a fenced in yard. To meet him, come to our location with everyone living in the home, humans and dogs, to make sure it is a good fit.
