Bennykins is a lovable young pup looking for an active family playful enough to keep up with him! Bennykins is a darling chiweenie, built long and low to the ground, this low rider has plenty of energy packed into his short little legs. Bennykins loves to run and play but is a snuggle bug when the day is done. He enjoys car rides to the coffee shop for a puppacino and will make a wonderful summer road trip companion. Bennykins is good with cats, but the cats will need to be dog friendly as Bennykins will think they want to play. Bennykins has lived with Great Danes, so he is good with dogs of ALL sizes and is looking for a home with a canine companion to romp around with and to keep him company when the humans have to leave. He would do best in a home where people are home more often than not as he gets some separation anxiety. Benny has been good with kids as young as 5 and would be happy to be a family man. He is about 80% housebroken but is a young pup who will need gentle reminders and may need continued training to grow up to be a perfect gentleman. To meet Bennykins bring the whole family and any current dogs to our shelter location.
