Meet Adonis!! This sweet girl has been raised in a foster’s home along with her siblings and several other dogs and cats. She gets along with everyone! She requires a canine companion and would do best in a quieter home. Adonis loves to run around the yard and roughhouse with all her canine friends. She’s very curious about the cats but respects their space, although she’s a bit disappointed they don’t want to play or snuggle with her, too. Adonis is timid at first but she sure is a sweetheart once she warms up! She greets her foster family with a kiss every time they come home and loves to snuggle up next to her people for petting. Her favorite snoozing spots are a fuzzy white chair and the foot of the bed. Adonis is a protector of her people and the pack so she will bark when a new person arrives in her home. She likes to keep her people close by as much as possible, but does well in the pen when no one is home. She has stayed in the rescue for observation and regular scans to monitor her growth due to leg abnormalities. She wore splints off and on to help with her issues and Adonis recently got the news she waited so long to hear: you do not need surgery and you are ready for adoption!
