Name: Calvin Compatibility with other dogs: Good, Slow Intro Required Calvin is a fun-loving, but scared boy who is looking for someone special to bond with. He unfortunately was found at a community park and it took a month before he would begin to let people near him. Since being rescued, his foster family says he forms a strong bond very quickly with his person and loves, loves, loves to play! And boy does he love to catch flies! His ideal lifestyle would be a playmate/lapdog. He is currently showing traits of being a lady’s man as he gets along with his current female canine companion and tends to bond quicker with women than men. Since Calvin’s foster family has cats, he would do well with dog savvy cats. But he will chase outside cats! He is kennel trained and also appears to be housebroken. He is also primarily a quiet dog, but will "talk" when playing. It is also evident he has had some formal training! He knows basic commands, but wouldn’t mind some leash manners. True to his breed, Calvin shows devotion to his humans and canine companions, alike. Calvin is looking for that forever home that has patience with him and wouldn’t mind having a canine companion to bond with as he has bonded very well with his current companion. But he also wouldn't mind being that solo dog to spoil! To meet Calvin, please come to the shelter with everyone that lives at home.
