Name: Paris Compatibility with other dogs: Good, Intro Required Requirements: Meet whole family, dog intro, patient and loving family Paris is AMAZING! She’s full of personality and affection! It’s clear from her demeanor that she was once very loved and in a home of her own. As far as we know, her earlier travels had her going from a home to a rescue to another rescue. She came to Arizona Small Dog Rescue as a pregnant single lady in search of a quiet place to raise her babies. Her foster family (who has fostered over 450 dogs) says she’s one of the very best mamas out there! She gave birth to five beautiful baby girls and has done an amazing job raising them. She’s even taught them how to use the doggy door. Now, it’s her turn to be babied herself. She already knows how to sit, shake, and lie down. She’s REALLY good at those (although she always offers her left hand). She is normally very quiet but will bark at typical bark-worthy things (the doorbell ringing and/or a neighbor out front). If she barks, she’s very easy to redirect and does not obsess. She LOVES attention but doesn’t demand it. In her foster home, she has been wonderful with other dogs, the occasional child visitors, and her babies. It’s unknown how she is with cats. Friends who saw pictures of her before meeting her in person have all said they thought she was bigger than she actually is, so it’s important to note that she’s only around 19 pounds (but worth way more than her weight in gold). If you are looking for a new family member, Paris might just be the perfect fit.
