Miss Mae is a gorgeous Shar Pei mix sweetie who may be the most petite one on record.  Weighing in at a whopping 20 pounds, she is most definitely a small doggo with a large personality!  This playful girl is looking for her pawsome furrever home that has another canine companion to spend long days running and exploring your backyard, sunbathing, lounging, and most importantly a human family who wants to join in on the cuddle puddle with her.  Mae was surrendered from a hoarding situation and thus she absolutely wants to live out her life with other pups as part of her pack.  Mae is not selective with people or dogs; she is friend to all including children but not sure if she like cats or not.  With very little work Mae has decided that a leash and harness is no longer scary and loves to go for long walks, she is house trained and has learned “sit” and is working on other new “moves” like “down” and “off” which she is quickly understanding.  Mae is a pretty chill dog, she has never shown any aggression except when it comes to food and only with other dogs NOT people; surely this is due to the hoarding situation she came from where food was scarce.  Due to this, Mae is fed in her kennel and enjoys her safe place in there to have her meal, she will run to it and eagerly await you hand delivering her food because of course, ladies first, right?  Mae also sleeps in her kennel and stays there any time her foster mom has to leave for a lengthy time; Mae likes her kennel and will happily hang out in there while you are gone. Mae is thought to be 1-2 years old and is still wanting to run and play and is a bit puppy-ish without all that biting and peeing in the house.  Mae is just a great dog who is really ready-made for a family like yours!
