Hi, I’m Ziggy. I am looking for a dog-savvy, patient, and kind person to give me a chance at a forever home. With time and understanding, I can become your best buddy, companion, and playmate!

My ideal home would be a calm environment because I can get overwhelmed with too much stimulation. I enjoy going for walks, and when we're back home, I like to hang out near my person. Oh, and playing! Fetch and tug-a-war are on my list of favorite things. I'm already housebroken and know how to use a doggie door like a pro. Plus, I'm a pretty good home security system – I'll always let you know when someone's at the door! I also sleep soundly through the night, and as long as I have a good stash of toys, I can happily keep myself entertained when you need some quiet time.

My foster mom says I might be a little misunderstood, but once I feel at ease, I’m really just a big goofball. I do have a few specific needs in my new home. I’m looking for folks who are experienced with dogs of all temperaments—people who understand that no dog is perfect and respect the importance of boundaries. It’s also essential that my future family isn’t easily discouraged during our adjustment period and that everyone in the home naturally exudes confidence around dogs.
