Life hasn’t been easy for me, but despite my quirks and challenges, I remain hopeful that a kind-hearted, calm, and confident human will come along and provide me with the time, patience, and understanding I deserve. I have a ton of love to give and can't wait to share it with a true friend who can offer me stability and guidance, especially during my adjustment period. I tend to bond quickly with men, but I'll form a bond with anyone who is kind, patient, and confident. Stressful environments and anxious people can easily overstimulate me, and I will express my discomfort through growls. Therefore, I need an observant, dog-savvy person who understands my signals and respects my boundaries. A tranquil home with a solid routine will help me feel secure and happy. I'm a curious boy who loves to explore my surroundings and can easily live in harmony with polite dogs and cats. Playtime with my toys is one of my favorite activities, and I often entertain myself. Once I'm comfortable, I adore playing fetch with my human and will frequently bring you my toy. I'm a big fan of walks and will eagerly join you for daily strolls. When it's TV time, I'll happily snuggle next to you. Plus, I'm housebroken! I can be a bit protective of my food and toys, so it's essential to have a mindful person who knows when to give me space. My protectiveness subsides once I've had enough time to trust my new people. While I'm not a fan of being kenneled, I'm perfectly fine being left home alone and will happily greet you upon your return. I'm also a great watchdog and will alert you whenever a stranger is at your door. With a little patience, understanding, and a lot of love, I will blossom into your wonderful companion.
