Daisy is a loving little senior gal who really appreciates the finer things in life: naps, treats, little strolls around the neighborhood, and car rides. She would love to find a home that has a plethora of soft blankets that she can dig down in and nap after a delightful stroll. Even better if she can hide away under her blanket next to her beloved owner in bed, only to poke her head out when it is time to go outside and potty. Daisy is a gentle little creature who has a delicate heart that will need some daily medication, but that doesn't hold her back from living her best life! She is a little gal who doesn't need to be carried around, in fact, she will walk beside you around the house and let you know if she needs to be lifted up to sit with you on the couch or bed, which she will quietly then dig down in her blanket for a little snooze. Manners are also very important to Daisy as she has not had a single accident in her current foster home and goes potty immediately when let out and she walks very well on a leash. She does a little dance when she sees her harness coming out for a walk or car ride and will tap her toes while you get her ready, showing her utter delight. She does like to explore the backyard and lay out to sunbathe, but she isn't really interested in running and playing with the other dogs. As an older, delicate lady, she has concerns when the dogs roughhouse around her and she will get bossy with them but then calms right down without a problem. She loves to groom other dogs (licking face and ears) and really enjoys their company, which makes us think she would do well with a companion dog that also enjoys sunbathing and long afternoon naps.If you’d like to meet her please submit an application.
