Salina was dumped at county kill shelter at the age of 13 because her owners claimed she was "too old"... We took her in, got her vet checked and gave her a full dental and she has been living at our shelter ever since. We have not put her out into the pens with other dogs so as not to stress her out so we kept her in the office. Come to find out that she likes to sleep in safe dark places such as the tented kitty litter box :( We find her sleeping in there all the time. She gets up a few times a day to explore and walk around but otherwise she just likes to sleep. We are asking someone to step up and offer this sweet senior girl a cozy comfortable place to sleep in your home. She doesn't need much, just a dark safe place to sleep, some food and water, and some love here and there. If you would be so kind to let this poor girl live out the rest of her life in your home please come meet her at the shelter. She is great with all other dogs, cats, kids, adults... We would hate for her neglectful owners too get the final say in her life and let her live in a shelter. Luckily she was saved by AZSDR from being put to sleep but she still deserves a quiet loving home after 13 years!! You can come anytime between 10-5 tuesday thru saturday to meet this angel ♥
