Bobtail / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young
Meet Kali! Kali and her brother were given to AZSDR by a loving family who helped their mommy raise them when they were found as strays in their backyard! Born at the end of August, she is just under 5 months old, and is a very healthy girl weighing in at 5 1/2 lbs. Kali's mommy was a Bobtail cat, and Kali also has a short tail just like her brother Greyson, and Mom, like Bobtails do. She is an absolutely stunning cat. Pictures just don't do this girl who is a very loving kitty justice- she is so gorgeous. Her coat is so lush, plush, and thick. Her short tail (with a non-visible kink in the tip) just makes her all the more amazing. Her eyes- wow! What a looker! Everyone at the veterinarian's office fell in love and commented on how beautiful she and her brother are. The vet tech wanted to take her home! Kali is so very loving and purrs very loudly- she really loves attention and affection. Kali loves, loves, loves people. Like calicos can be, she doesn't like new cats when she first meets them. She will be hissy and will need slow introductions to other pets over time. She also is not fond of dogs. Due to their being born outside, she is distrustful of dogs, so if her forever home has dogs, they will need to be non-aggressive and the type of dog that ignores cats and defintely doesn't chase her. She slowly accepted her foster family's chihuahua after a couple of weeks. Kali is SUCH a lovebug and needs to be with a family who wants a cat who enjoys physical affection. She really loves being petted and purrs so loudly. You don't even have to pick her up for her to start purring! She's definitely a lap cat but is also playful and loves the feather wand. She is spayed, was tested for felv/fiv and was negative, and is as up to date as possible on her kitten vaccines. She will need another FVRCP kitty vaccine on Feb. (They must be spaced 3 weeks apart.) Kali has been dewormed twice to ensure she's parasite free, and preemptively treated for ear mites. She is also microchipped. Kali is an indoor only cat and does not miss being outside one single bit. This well behaved kitty is litter box trained and loves to lie on the top of the tall cat climber to watch the goings on of the family. This beautiful girl's adoption fee is $120, and includes her mircochip registration.
